PARTICIPATION OF THE RESIDENT COMMUNITIES

A study of the local communities (number of communities, population size and composition, land-uses, uses of natural resources, attitudes, etc.) around the farm area will be conducted as a part of the Environmental Impact Assessment. The study comports an awareness campaign, to stop the non-sustainable use of land and natural resources and to participate in the project and in the protection of the nature in the area. Permanente connections will be established with the local authorities (Sobas). They will be informed of all of the farm’s plans and consulted about them. Any position in the farm will be offered as a first priority to the residents of the area. The activities in nature and the cultural activities will be developed in consultance with the local communities and carried out with their participation.
